Beer Bread Muffins recipe made with beer, butter, garlic, sugar, and flour. Perfect next to a bowl of steaming hot chili!

Ingredients Needed: – 1/4 cup butter – 6 cloves garlic minced – 2 1/2 cups flour – 3 tsp baking powder – 3/4 tsp salt – 2 tbsp sugar – 12 oz beer – 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1. Melt butter in a pan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until you start to really smell the garlic, only about 1 minute. Remove pan from the heat and set it aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the dry ingredients. 3. Add in the beer and the melted butter & garlic mixture.

4. Stir the beer bread muffin batter just until moistened. Try not to overmix the batter!

5. Divide batter evenly into a 12 cup muffin tin that has been sprayed with non stick spray.

6. Bake the muffins in a preheated oven. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Can these be frozen? Absolutely! I like to make a double batch, wrap with plastic wrap, and freeze in plastic bags for a quick soup side dish!
