Strawberry Cheese Danish By Kelly Miller • March15,2012 • Updated June 30, 2018 • 6 Comments30111 Pin It These are so simple to make with refrigerated crescent rolls and they look really pretty without much effort. My mom was actually surprised I made them! I love recipes like that, don’t you? We were planning on buying some cream cheese danish for my sister’s baby shower when I saw this idea on Pinterest. These are perfect for a shower or girly party, Paul & Silas of course had a few samples though before I took them over to the party! Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish Lisa’s Dinnertime Dish 3 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (you can use less, you’ll just have leftover cheese filling) 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg strawberry preserves (use any flavor you like) 1 cup powdered sugar 1/2 tablespoon vanilla 2 tablespoons milk Beat cream cheese, sugar, and egg until creamy. Unroll crescent roll triangles on greased cookie sheet. Drop a good tablespoon of cheese filling on wide end. Drop about a teaspoon of strawberry preserves on top of the cheese filling. fold both short corners over filling meeting in the center. pull long triangle end over both and tuck under. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. While they are in the oven, mix together powedered sugar and vanilla. Add milk one tablespoon at a time until you have a thin glaze. When done baking, remove danish from cookie sheet and transfer to a wire rack. Drizzle glaze over danish and allow to cool completely. Repeat for remaining cans of crescent rolls. Someone sneaky is trying to steal one while I’m taking a picture… Ahh, he’s so cute sometimes I can’t take it! 🙂 Linking up to: Whatever You Want Wednesday, Wow Me Wednesday, Show and Tell, Women Living Well, The Mommy Club, This Chick Cooks, Full Plate Thursday, Strut Your Stuff, Thrifty Thursday, It’s a Keeper Thursday, Sweet Temptations, Taking a Timeout Thursday, Things I’ve Done Thursday, Tastastic Thursday. 30111
