These Sheet Pan Chocolate Syrup Brownies use a whole can of chocolate syrup and walnuts! Topped with homemade chocolate frosting, these are so fudgey and delicious – a perfect dessert recipe for a crowd! Did you know you can make brownies with chocolate syrup? They are SO fudgey and delicious! I was walking through the grocery store and I spotted that very familiar can of chocolate syrup and it just HAD to come home with me! The sight of that Hershey’s chocolate syrup can reminds me of my Grandmom. She always had an opened can in the refrigerator. I remember her using it to make me chocolate milk. It makes the BEST chocolate milk ever! The syrup is about the same consistency of the bottle variety, and I’m not sure if it’s any different than the bottled kind either, but something about the can makes it taste SO much better! If you’re looking for it the next time you’re out, check on the very top shelf of the chocolate syrup/strawberry syrup aisle. They also have it on Amazon here using my affiliate link (doesn’t cost any extra for you, but I receive a small percentage of the sale). These are thinner brownies, but they are really fudgey and good – especially with the homemade frosting on top. Plus, I absolutely love that they are baked in a half sheet pan because they make a TON. Perfect for bake sales or taking to potluck church dinners. Feel free to omit the chopped walnuts and replace with miniature semi sweet chocolate chips if you really want to bump up the chocolate factor! yield: 24 browniesAuthor: Kelly Millerprint recipe Sheet Pan Chocolate Syrup Brownies A recipe for brownies made with chocolate syrup and walnuts, baked in a half sheet pan, and frosted with homemade chocolate frosting. prep time: 10 MINScook time: 25 MINStotal time: 35 mins INGREDIENTS: For brownies: 1/2 cup butter, room temperature 16 oz can chocolate syup 1 cup sugar 4 eggs, beaten 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chopped walnuts For frosting: 1/4 cup melted butter 1/4 cup milk 6 tablespoons cocoa powder 2 cups confectioner’s sugar INSTRUCTIONS: Blend brownie ingredients in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
