Jalapeno Popper Monkey Bread By Kelly Miller • December1,2016 • Updated February 7, 2020 • 3 Comments 10.8K 1 Jump to Recipe This Jalapeno Popper Monkey Bread is the perfect holiday party food recipe! Spicy jalapenos, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese along with biscuits – great to set out on an appetizer table! I’m always looking for great appetizer and snack recipes to make during the holidays and through the winter part of the year. Not only do we have several family gatherings and birthdays to celebrate during this time of the year, but of course it’s Christmas time and we just like to all be together and spend time with one another. Many Sundays we venture over to my parents’ house after church for the kids to play with my nephew, and just have a great time together. We pretty much have a holiday party on a weekly basis during December! It’s just so fun to put together some great snacks that everyone enjoys and can grab a bite or two as we’re having fun. This will be one that you’ll have a hard time keeping available though, I’m warning you! For holiday parties that we’re invited to, though, I tend to usually bring some kind of sweet treat or baked good. As a Pastor’s family, I have to tell you – we get TONS of delicious homemade treats every year. It is absolutely wonderful, and for the past two Christmas seasons the only things I baked myself were cut out sugar cookies – and that’s only because they kids begged me to do it with them! Believe me, I am a baked good ADDICT, but there definitely comes a limit to even what I can enjoy. After a while, I love turning to savory and spicy flavors to mix it up a bit during the Christmas season, with all it’s sweet flavors. I’m telling you, this Jalapeno Popper Monkey Bread hits all of those flavors – and then some! The heat from the jalapenos combined with the rolls and the gooey cream cheese totally remind me of traditional jalapeno poppers! This monkey bread is so addictive – be ready with a second batch of ingredients to throw together another bread when the first one disappears! Kelly Miller says February 26, 2021 at 1:34 pm You could use two 9 inch loaf pans or even a 9 x 13 baking dish – just keep an eye on it in the oven as I’m not sure what the cooking time would be. Good luck! Reply
