03Apr2013 Healthy Eating with Yopa! Yogurt Preschool mornings around here are really hectic. And frustrating dealing with sleepy kids. And there’s definitely not enough coffee for all of that! Actually, even if I get a chance to make the coffee, I’m lucky if I can take a few gulps before I’m rushing out the door. If this is what life is like with only one of them in school…. sheesh! We recently had the opportunity to try Yopa! yogurt and when I looked at the ingredient list in the store, I was pleasantly surprised. Why? I could actually read all of the ingredients. I decided to pick up three flavors: black cherry, strawberry, and blueberry. Due to the previously stated CRAZY nature of preschool mornings, I gave these to the kids for breakfast before we headed out. They really loved the granola section and Silas had fun stirring it in his yogurt. I really loved how convenient it was and how it is packed with nutrition. The 5.3 oz cups I bought contain: 13 grams of protein (26% daily) live & active cultures REAL strawberries, blueberries, and cherries (depending on flavor variety) nine whole grains in the granola no artificial colors I actually recently bought a pack of Greek yogurt from a very famous brand that I was shocked to discover did not contain live & active yogurt cultures. I will definitely be looking to Yopa! again to satisfy my family’s love of yogurt! Not to mention it was delicious.
