Crockpot Salisbury Steak Meatballs By Kelly Miller • September21,2016 • Updated January 26, 2020 • 1 Comment 4.8K 6 Jump to Recipe These Crockpot Salisbury Steak Meatballs are the perfect weeknight meal! Fresh seasoned ground beef meatballs, slow cooked in a beef gravy, and served over brown and wild rice! Happy National Rice Month! Were you aware that September is National Rice Month? Neither was I! I can tell you, though, our family enjoys rice as part of our meal or side dish several times each week. Sometimes when these boys get home from school, I wonder if they ate their lunch and snack at all. They come home absolutely famished every single day! I’m really happy that they get a chance to expend all that energy on learning, playing at recess, and practicing their social skills with classmates and teachers. From the minute they come home they’re asking for a snack and a drink, all the way up until dinner time. I’m beginning to realize now that I need to make sure I’m planning some healthy and hearty meals for these boys, especially during the week when they’re hours away at school each day. They need nutritious meals that will keep them full. And of course these meals need to taste delicious, too! These meatballs are the perfect comfort food dinner that will leave your entire family begging for more!
