Creamy Cucumber Bagel Sandwiches By Kelly Miller • June4,2013 • Updated January 25, 2022 • 15 Comments 5.4K 40 Jump to Recipe Creamy Cucumber Bagel Sandwiches made with cucumbers, cream cheese, green onion, and Worcestershire sauce. A tangy, tasty filling – don’t skip the everything bagels! Cucumbers are probably my favorite summer veggie. Ice cold, sliced, and dipped in some salad dressing – man that’s a great snack on a hot day! I remember growing up at our house in Philadelphia, my parents’ had a pretty awesome vegetable garden. I believe they had tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes (my dad’s favorite), and bell peppers growing back there – I wish I had inherited their love for gardening! Though I really need to, at least with some pots on our back deck. Anyone have a successful veggie garden in pots? Inquiring minds would love to know. 🙂 These bagel sandwiches are perfect for summer picnics, BBQs, and parties. Actually, I think they would be great at bridal and baby showers. You probably could substitute the everything bagels for party rye or crescent rolls, but I honestly wouldn’t. I think it was the perfect flavor pairing! jennikolaus says June 4, 2013 at 3:26 pm First of all, everything bagels are the bomb! I LOVE those! Second of all, cucumbers are so yummy! They get sort of ignored though, you don't see them as the main ingredient very often. 😉 This sounds like an awesome pairing that I can't wait to try! I have family coming into town and we're planning a picnic, I think I might make these to bring! Thanks for sharing! ~Jen Reply
