Ok, everyone, I have an announcement to make. I am officially DONE shopping online for Christmas gifts for the kiddos! I never in a million years thought I could be done this early with Christmas toy shopping. Luckily stalking the online and Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales really paid off this year and I’m happy to say I was able to snag some great bargains, too! The gifts that I still have to take care of are mostly family and teacher gifts. In our family, we keep online wishlists up to date (hopefully) year round so we can each log on to the recipient’s list and choose a gift or two from there. Even though I’m technically not finished shopping for family, it’s pretty easy and I’m not so stressed about that. Teacher gifts, though… those can be so tough! I usually give a gift card because when I was a teacher, I LOVED the gift cards. And no, I’m not talking to a teacher store! I typically pick a department store or restaurant so that the teacher can just splurge on something for him/herself. I always struggle with what to give WITH the gift card. A travel mug? A pair of gloves? Something handmade from Silas or Wesley? I’ve found it with this yummy Cinnamon Mocha Drink Mix! Not only is it easy to put together, it’s something the kids can help you prepare and it’s absolutely delicious. Silas actually thought it was really cool how the layers looked like “sand art” in the blender: I have to agree, it looks pretty neat, buddy! My only advice is to buy enough ingredients to make a batch for yourself – it’s perfect to just mix with hot water, stir, and take with you in a travel mug when you’re running out the door! One batch of this drink mix fits perfectly into a Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Deep Square container! I really like how the recipient will have a nice quality container to reuse once the drink mix is gone, plus they’re microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe as well. I’ve also created printable instruction gift tags for you to download for FREE! Just click here to download and print. Here’s how to assemble a Cinnamon Mocha Drink Mix gift like mine: Materials Needed: Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Deep Square container one batch of Cinnamon Mocha Drink Mix printed instruction gift tags tablespoon measure or coffee scoop with hole in handle hole puncher ribbon optional: cute seasonal mug To assemble: Place entire batch of Cinnamon Mocha Drink Mix in container. Snap lid down using the Quik Clik Seal™ which will keep drink mix secure and prevent spills during transport. Tie ribbon around container once. Thread tag and coffee scoop. Tie bow. I loved how easy it was to just pick up all the materials and ingredients I needed for this gift at Walmart. While I was looking through the Rubbermaid containers, I also picked up a Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Serving Container. I’m constantly bringing my newest recipes and treats along with me to my family’s house and I know this will come in handy.
