Classic meatloaf with brown sugar in the glaze – so delicious! I remember my mom making meatloaf quite a few times growing up. It always had this sweet red glaze on top that made the meatloaf absolutely delicious! It was one of the dinners as I kid I remember that everyone in the family enjoyed. Such a classic! Paul isn’t a huge fan of meatloaf, unfortunately. Well really, not a fan of it at all! It’s funny to say this, but in our house, this Brown Sugar Meatloaf is what we call a “kid dinner.” Do you do kid dinners at your house? We do kid dinners when one of us is out for the night at a meeting or a get-together and won’t be eating dinner at home. So we pull out the mac & cheese from a box, frozen chicken nuggets, or whatever it is that the kids enjoy. It make dinner that night a little bit easier! Well, for me, this meatloaf is a kid dinner! Both boys absolutely love it so I make it on nights when Paul won’t be home during dinner time. It works well for us! Brown Sugar Meatloaf This Brown Sugar Meatloaf is the perfect weeknight meal! Angelina says August 29, 2020 at 7:03 pm WOW! 1181 mg of sodium ‘per serving’ is more than a bit excessive. Personally, I’d use a binder other than SALTINES, and also a low sodium Worchester Sauce, in order to bring down the sodium content a bit….but that’s just me. Other than that, I also like to add some diced Red Bell Pepper into my Meatloaf. It’s really tasty with it. Reply
