Christmas Oreo Fudge

December 16, 2014
White chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, Christmas Oreos, and salt. Only 4 ingredients for this decadent fudge, perfect for a quick holiday gift!

I think the food marketers know me the second I walk into the grocery store during the Christmas season. Christmas themed Oreos, candy, ice cream... I feel like I want need to try them all!! I'm a HUGE sucker for the seasonal treats. Lucky for my waistline I have two kiddos who could level a bag of M&M's in about 5 minutes, so I rarely wind up getting them through the checkout.

Christmas Oreos? Ok, no, seriously - they were coming home with me! Oreos are one of my favorite store bough cookie and I know there are lots of copycat recipes on some of my favorite food blogs, but sometimes I just want the crinkle of that plastic try. Is that odd? I sure hope not, haha!

I really love making yummy treats that are perfectly giftable, just like this easy fudge. I made a batch and then just stacked pieces in a regular mason jar that I picked up at the dollar store. Tie it with a few pieces of curly ribbon, and you have a present anyone would love to receive!

Christmas Oreo Fudge

Ingredients
  • 18 oz white chocolate chips (1 1/2 packages)
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups Christmas Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
Cooking Directions
  1. Line an 8 x 8 square baking dish with foil or wax paper, leaving long pieces to hang over the edge of the dish, and spray with nonstick spray; set aside.
  2. Combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and salt in a saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Gently stir in cookies, just enough to spread cookie pieces throughout fudge - if you over stir the red filling will marble the white fudge.
  4. Spread fudge into prepared baking dish, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  5. Gently lift entire square of fudge out of the dish using the long pieces of wax paper. Cut into small squares and package for gift giving or store in a plastic container with a lid.

I really love that you could use any holiday themed Oreo as well. So fun and easy, you gotta love that!

Here are some more of my favorite giftable treats:
