Easy Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frozen Fruit Bars

July 4, 2014

Strawberry frozen fruit bars drizzled with chocolate hardening sauce for an amazingly easy and delish summer treat!

I used to not be too crazy about summer, mainly because of the heat. I love doing things outside, but when it's super hot and humid out, I just want to relax inside with a cool drink! I remember begging my mom to turn on the air conditioner when it was ungodly hot during the summer. Our air conditioner back then was this MASSIVE box permanently stuck through our living room wall and she was probably right to limit running the thing so much because it probably doubled our electric bill with one use, haha!

But now that the kiddos are a little bit older, around 11am every day they run outside to our backyard playground and play with their friends. Pretty much all day. It's glorious! I keep an eye and ear on them from our sliding door and kitchen window and get things done around the house and they can just be kids and play. We ALL are absolutely loving summer! Haha, just look at this cutie with the crazy hair - love him!

Of course as the day wears on and it really heats up, they come in for drinks and "pops" with their friends. These Fruttare Frozen Fruit & Milk Bars are SO yummy and I love that they're getting a great blend of creamy milk and real fruit in each treat. None of that fake stuff! Best of all, they're available at retailers nationwide. If you haven't tried them yet, Fruttare offers a delicious line of frozen fruit bars bursting with real fruit taste. In addition to the fruit and milk bars, they also offer frozen fruit and juice bars - I think they would be perfect for this idea as well and I can't wait to try them next!

These Easy Chocolate Covered Strawberry Frozen Fruit Bars are SO simple to make, literally seconds, and the kids went CRAZY for them. Actually if I'm being totally honest, so did I!

Strawberry Fruttare Frozen Fruit & Milk Bars
1 bottle chocolate syrup, the kind that hardens on contact with frozen food

Unwrap bars and lay them out on a platter or plate. Drizzle chocolate syrup over bars and allow 15 or so seconds until chocolate is hardened. Serve to your hot and sweaty kiddos for a great cool treat!

I actually used Fruttare's Banana frozen fruit and milk bars and drizzled the chocolate over them, oh my - these were MY favorite! An easy way to enjoy chocolate covered bananas, yum!

Here are some more of my favorite frozen summer treats:
