Grands rolls dipped tossed in melted butter, dill, and onion - these are a perfect garlic bread alternative on pasta night!
If you read my Menu Plan Monday post yesterday, you know that this is a very special week for me here on Mostly Homemade Mom. Two years ago I began posting recipes on this blog just as a way to document my favorite meals. I really loved the idea of being able to share my favorite recipes with my family and friends, and even maybe some new friends online.
And that's where you came in! I'm not sure whether it was my beauteous photos back then (haha) or just the easy meal ideas I loved sharing, but I actually had people that wanted to try my foodie ideas, too! I was hooked on this blogging thing.
I really am not sure how to express just how grateful I am to God that I have this opportunity to blog, and to actually provide for my family a bit financially by something I absolutely love doing. Even more than that I've had the opportunity to "meet" all of you and some great fellow bloggers. Have I given you some warm fuzzies all over? I hope so. :)
Ok, on to these amazing little biscuits. These are a classic Mostly Homemade Mom recipe - three ingredients, pop them in the oven, and it'll be the first thing gone from the table. I'm telling you! Plus I don't know about you, but I always have dried dill and minced onion on hand anyway. This is such an easy side dish for pasta or a salad.
Easy Onion & Dill Biscuits
1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled slightly
1 tablespoon dried, minced onion
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 can Pillsbury Grands biscuits
In a large bowl, combine butter, onion, and dill. Cut the biscuits in half and place in the bowl with the dill mixture. Using your hands, gently toss the biscuits to make sure they're evenly coated. Place biscuits on a foil-lined cookie sheet (it'll be snug) and bake at 350 degrees for 11-15 minutes.
