Shrimp Cocktail Dip | Mostly Homemade Mom

Shrimp Cocktail Dip

April 28, 2013
Cream cheese topped with shrimp tossed in cocktail sauce, and sprinkled with Parmesan - the best way to serve shrimp cocktail to a crowd!

I'm a huge fan of mostly anything seafood. Crablegs, salmon, and shrimp being my top favorites in the seafood category. We used to live near a restaurant that served an amazing all you can eat seafood buffet, and it included lobster tail! They fittingly called it "King Henry's Feast" and it certainly wasn't cheap, but it was SO worth it! And the dessert. Oh my word, the dessert. Everything was wonderfully bite sized so that you could taste each cake or pie without feeling too full. If you weren't full already, that is...

Anyway, this Shrimp Cocktail Dip is a great way to change up regular shrimp cocktail, and it serves more people, too. We tried these with wheat thins, but I really preferred regular Ritz crackers. This is perfect to bring to a party or family gathering, just be warned - it will be gone within minutes!

  1. Yum, Kelly! What a great and creative take on the regular Shrimp Cocktail. This sounds delicious, I love the idea of serving it on a cracker for some extra crunch. :)
