On the menu this week: Tuna Melt Quesadillas
Are you as passionate about menu planning as I am? I've been menu planning since before I started couponing. I was sick of spending $100+ at the grocery store for just my husband and me (this was before the little cherubs were born) and it wouldn't even last us 10 days.
I am blown away what a plan and $50 a week can provide my family. We have enjoyed fresh, homemade meals that most of the time are quick and easy for me to prepare (thanks to my LOVE of Crock Pot cooking :). Sure we splurge every once in a while for take out, but the difference now is that we can afford to. Is eating out for your family a special treat or a last minute I-don't-even-have-ground-beef-for-Hamburger-Helper decision?
I hope I've inspired you to start menu planning if you don't already. Be sure to check out Org Junkie's Menu Plan Monday to get some more great ideas for your menu this week.
Anywho, I'm taking advantage of some KILLER grocery store deals on mostly frozen seafood/chicken I snagged last week and will be picking up this week. Weis had Nathan's hotdogs on BOGO, WOOHOO! Without further adieu, here's my "easy goin" menu this week:
Monday- Roasted Lemon Garlic Herb Shrimp
Tuesday- Grilled Beef Hotdogs (on the George) with Sauerkraut
Thursday- Breaded Flounder and Buttered Noodles w/ Stewed Tomatoes
Friday- Tuna Melt Quesadillas
Saturday- Easy Chicken Mozzarella Sandwiches
Sunday- Slow Cooker Honey Sesame Chicken
So, what's your story? Do you menu plan? :) Have a blessed week!
