Yes there are pork chops under there!! I didn't realize I had bought thin cut pork chops until I got home. It didn't make a bit of difference, this recipe was so tasty and flavorful. Hands down, I will be making this again. I love that I can have all the ingredients on hand waiting for a great deal on pork chops.
8 pork chops
1/2 cup spicy mustard
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 box Stove Top stuffing
1 can corn, drained
1 cup water
Spray 9x13 baking dish with non stick spray. In a shallow bowl, mix brown sugar and mustard. One by one, coat each side of pork chops with mustard mixture. Top chops with any remaining mixture (you'll want every last bit of this stuff, trust me!) In a medium sized bowl, mix stuffing, corn, and water. Top pork chops with stuffing mixture. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.

Ooh, that looks really good. My family would love this.
ReplyDeleteI make a similar praline pork chop. I use pecans and bread crumbs instead of the Stovetop, but the rest is just about the same. The sweetness of the sugar combined with the spiciness of the mustard is such a good compliment to pork. Truthfully, it's the only way I'll make a pork chop!
ReplyDeleteI love anything that included Stove Top. It's a huge weakness of mine.

This sounds delicious! Do you make the stuffing first and then put it on top, or do you sprinkle it on, right out of the box?
ReplyDeleteHaley, you mix the dry stuffing mix with the corn and water and spoon it over each pork chop. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteThis looks so great! Trying it for dinner tonight. Going to feature on my blog for my "What's for dinner?" Wednesdays. Can't wait! I'm a newbie so hoping to have a few visitors. lindyhopsandclaypots.blogspot.com
