Peanut Butter Fudge Bars By Kelly Miller • September8,2011 • Updated December 2, 2021 • 8 Comments 392 I’m really not a huge fan of peanut butter desserts. Unfortunately, my husband, toddler, and the rest of the population thinks otherwise! I made these bars a while back when I noticed the recipe on the side of the Pillsbury Golden Butter Recipe cake mix box. These were a perfect addition to the bake sale this Sunday and they were easy to package in one serving sizes using saran wrap. I’ve been told these are awesome topped with some ice cream. 🙂 Peanut Butter Fudge Bars from Pillsbury 1 package yellow cake mix 1 1/2 cups peanut butter, divided 1/3 cup water 1 egg 16oz can chocolate fudge frosting M&Ms or other decorations (I left them off this time) In a large mixing bowl, beat cake mix, 1 cup peanut butter, water, and egg with an electric mixer until combined. Batter will be cookie dough consistency. Press batter into a greased 9×13 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until slightly browned. Cool completely. In a medium mixing bowl, combine frosting and 1/2 cup peanut butter. Spread over cooled bars. Cut into squares and serve.
